Mike Pics: Ripping Yarns – Golden Gordon

In this episode, Michael plays Gordon Ottershaw, a big fan of Barnstoneworth United, a small football club that has been losing every game. He is so obsessed with the fact the team keeps losing that he smashes things as soon as he gets home and doesn't even take notice when his wife tries to tell him she is having a baby. Gordon tries unsuccessfully to save the club from being sold to a scrap dealer, so he visits team members from the heyday of the club. The last big game they are playing against Denley Moor, one of the players of which happens to be the legendary Eric Olthwaite. Things look bleak until Gordon arrives with the old champs, who manage to defeat Denley Moor. Gordon and his family smash furniture in celebration.
